I'M Not God - Poem by Jamie Wright

I'm not God

In this life
I have one regret
I've played God
I'm the cause of a death
I've taken a life
Before that life began
I'm not a God
Just a regretful man
If I had Gods powers
I'd go back in time
I'd listen to that voice
That would've saved a life
If I had Gods powers
I'd make this wrong right
But
I don't have Gods powers
Just the power to take a life

'i don't have God's/i only have the power to take life'. We've all made the same mistake, but you're a powerful man, cos you've shown regret. Nice poem. (Report) Reply
