Next Time That We Meet - Poem by david kush

The next time that we meet
We'll be strangers
Even though we've known
Each other a long long time
For next time that we meet
You'll be another's
Being held by someone else's arms
For the person that I knew
We'll be gone forever
To only be a memory
To keep this cold and lonely heat warm
For without you I can never be free
Free to love another
Because you were the greatest thing for me
