Blanketed the earth
Voluptuous
And ponderous

My far flung friends
Like stars above
You sparkle through the night

Sand in my toes
Scorched burning feet
Ran to the water
Got outta the heat

A breath of a breeze

Tousles my hair

Powdery, white grains of sand
Softly sifted through my hand.

Flinging sand out towards the sea

Listlessly floating, reaching out
Fingers drawing playful aqua swirls

Bright, beauteous days of blues and whites
