Chris Stennett Poems

Evil has taken a terrifying form
And began playing with life like it's a game
Wreaking havoc like never before
And came forth screaming my name
...

For too long I've been labeled as a coward
Let myself be tortured by malevolent clones
Took relentless beatings like there's no tomorrow
Suffocated in the dust of human bones
...

I have risen from the ashes of enslavement
And have now forged my very own path
Never to be trapped in anyone's shadow
Or to continuously suffer their wrath
...

Time and time again we are always warned
To be very careful who we befriend
For not everyone we meet can be easily trusted
Or will stay friends with you till the very end
...

Sometimes things don't go according to plan
Since problems in life keep hitting you in the face
Dragging you down like a barrel full of crabs
Mocking you and calling you a complete disgrace
...

Words cannot describe how happy I've become
Since I have now moved from darkness to the light
Free from never-ending misery and sadness
With the eternal feeling of enjoyment and flight
...

I have been imprisoned my entire life
Inside an abyss of darkness and despair
With everlasting anger consuming me
And my soul slowly beginning to tear
...

People often say when they look in my eyes
That I am consumed by hatred and rage
Since I now walk a long lonely road
And my life has turned a darkening new page
...

Chris Stennett Biography

A poem I read back in 2020 involving the song: 'See what I've become' by Zack Hemsey Inspired me to start writing my very own poems, And I really have to say it feels amazing to express my thoughts through writing.

The Best Poem Of Chris Stennett

I Fear No Evil

Evil has taken a terrifying form
And began playing with life like it's a game
Wreaking havoc like never before
And came forth screaming my name

But I do not run and hide from it
Instead I glare at it dead in the eye
And savagely give it two choices
To either: 'Leave this place, or die'

We engaged in a long epic fight
With it losing the courage to take a stand
For it underestimated me from the very beginning
And met a slow and painful death by my hand

I leave not even a smidgen of it left
Once I have ended its 'Hell Raising' fun
And as I glance at myself in the mirror, I say:
'The battle may be won, but the war has only begun'

Chris Stennett Quotes

I write both dark and light poems mostly do to my past...

I myself may have had more downs than ups throughout my childhood, but I never gave up...

No matter how many times life knocks you down by pushing you, always push back harder by getting up!
