Jen! Hey girl! I've already added, like, tons of your poems to my fave list. You have such fantastic imagery! Check out S. Teasdale when you get the chance- I think you'll like her poems. She's one of my new favourites! See you soon!

Tucked Away

A quiet little community tucked away
In an overlooked corner of the sea
Quaint cottages line the vast beach
This is where she goes to get away
Leaving footprints in the sand

Dulled to a numb throbbing
The warmth of a fireplace ember
Brings a rare visitor to her face
