The Mask

In loving memory of my brother. (Suicide)

I wear a mask to hide me,
the real me.

I wear a mask to hide,
the person you don't wan't me to be.

You try to mold me like a statue for everyone to see,
you want me to be what you couldn't be.

You degrade the man inside of me.
Why can't you accept me for me?

I hide me until I can't anymore, you see?
You push me to the point of insanity.

I have to destroy the man I turned out to be.

I have no choice but to leave, the mask can't
hide me for eternity.

I have to find ...
