I am hooked.
I devour poisons, in safe amounts
I jump off ledges on a quest for safe havens beyond
My poor judgements, I wrap in calculated risks

To the ends of the earth I thought we'd sail
But, with the rest of time, our bonds did break
So naive I was thinking love could prevail
For my once dearly beloveds are now estranged.

'Blessed are the hearts that can blend' they say
For they shall never be broken
I thought what's the essence if it's made of muscle
And a little flex I can't subject it to?

Logic?
Magic?
Reality?
Dreams?

Little did I knows in my lies an uncharted path
Negating logic and embracing selflessness
Glad I am to find a being as such to complete me
Here I am the bunny, there she is my front teeth.

Cunning be the state of our hearts, as it yearns for the feelings it's never felt,
For the moment it arrives, do we know it is.
Tricky be the form of our souls, in search of lights for its shadows, in pursuit of truths for its doubts.

From pieties professed to deities by the men of old killing bulls and drinking booze
To the chaotic mass of constellations tethered to purpose by zodiacs signs
From Divination to necromancy,
From prophesies to palmistry,

Man
Nothing more than a bundle of non conformities
Doing well in nothing but reinforcing the narratives of old that 'Truly, solitude is the profoundest of all human conditions for man is the only being who knows he's alone'
For when trouble comes knocking, it never announces itself until you open the doors and God save you if you dare to open your arms wide.
