ਸਾੱਡੀ ਉੱਡਦੀ ਪਤੰਗ
ਸਾਡੀ ਉੱਡਦੀ ਪਤੰਗ
ਯਾਰਾਂ ਬੇੱਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ!
ਫੁਰ-ਫੁਰ ਹੈ ਗਾਉੰਦੀ
ਤੇ ਨੱਚੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਅੰਬਰੀ! !
ਪਾਉੰਦੀ ਐ ਸਦਾ
ਇਹੇ ਝੋਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਦੇ!
ਕਹੇ ਨਾ ਕੈਂਚੀ ਮੈਂ ਪਾਵਾਂ
ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਦੀ ਆਣ ਕੇ! !
ਜਾਵੇ ਉੱਚੀ ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ
ਯਾਰਾਂ-ਬੇੱਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ!
ਸਾਰੇ ਯਾਰ-ਬੇੱਲੀ ਐ ਮਲੰਗ
ਜਾ ਬਣੇ ਆੱਥਣੇ ਬਸੰਤ।

Saddi uddadi patang
Yaaraan belliyaan de sang!
Furr furr hae gaundi
Te natchey charr ambrin! !
Paundi ae sadaa
Ehe jhole pyaar dey!
Kahey na kaenchi main pavaan
Pichhon di aan key! !
Javey ucchi charr di
Yaaraan belliyaan de sang!
Saarey yaar belli ae malang
Ja baney aathney basant.
I appreciate the poem celebrating the season with friends and kite flying in a joyous mood. However, last line of the poem is not that clear. Thanks, Dear Friend.
last line i.e. when all friends join together at the adda(meeting place) then it seems like the spring. thanks you!
