Maiñ tüñ hoiya tüñ maiñ,
Maiñ tân hoiya tüñ jāñ,
Hùń koī nī kæh sakdā
Maiñ hōr æñ té tüñ hōr.
،من تو شدم تو من شدی
،من تن شدم تو جان شدی
تا کس نگوید بعد از این
من دیگرم تو دیگری۔
Mân tu shudâm tu mân shudi,
Mán tân shudâm tu jaañ shudi,
Tā kas nâ gūyâd ba'ad az īn
Mân digram tu digari.
Hazrat Ameer Khosrou(Dehlvi)
I have become you, and you me,
I am the body, you soul;
So that no one can say hereafter,
That you are are someone, and me someone else.

Nice one. His writings are deeply meaningful and touch the heart. Thanks for sharing.
The cultural history of India cannot be true without adding an episode about Amir Khusru.A student of Hindi Literature should essentially have to assess his position in the history of literature. The translation attracts many felicitations...10
I have become you And you, me, I am the body And you, the soul. No one can say now: We are two different beings.
I welcome you sir here on my page. Thanks for this English translation. I have tried to translate into punjabi.
Nice that you have resurrected the above verse. I read this verse for the first time about nine years ago- on March 20,2011 to be precise. Sardar Khushwant Singh used to write his weekly Sunday column 'With malice towards one and all'. It was there that I read it with its English translation. I have pasted that paper cutting in my scrape book. Thanks for sharing the verse along with its superb translation.
Thanking Dear Sir! ! I should say that this verse has resurrected me. I'm happy that I could recalled you your precious memory.
Thanking Dear Sir! ! I should say that this verse has resurrected me.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
These four lines have deep philosophical meanings. I guess, 'you' here is none other than God Almighty Himself.
