020209a That Could Be You

there was barefoot cute girl
staring at dressed mannequin
gazing; contempt of a dream
spin around hand on waist
step side to side; lift her hips
and gently look at her legs

have you ever done such; marvel
going to mall with all that trouble
hands full waiting in line for a fit
to your dismay none fit your taste
you mumble and blame it on dress
walk to perfume counter to refresh

shadow of that girl full of wish
most beautiful on those dresses
yet always dreaming every time
when, where, how she could find
actually she’s looking to tell her
you’re so pretty whatever you wear

that’s my girl; you’re so pretty
smile sweetly; walk gracefully
of course please talk to me
