031210 So Peaceful When Asleep

i went to my room
shed all civilize armor
that's clinging to this frame
and dove to my king size bed
let go of everything trying
to catch a nap while washing

i kick some of the books
then i heard an unusual thud
oh! that's my pc, hope it's not
i jump off, to my relief, it's intact
i'll turn it on later just too tired
i should be watching movie

i inserted myself between
my comforter and mattress
wrestling with my pillow
thinking of you, i reach out
meet by the softness of sheets
and pulled by mystery of sleep
