behind the baby palms
so soft i can't understand
could be secret indulges
cap with sweet kisses
i haven't seen their faces

i have to walk away
i'm wary of what they say
i just came close by chance
seeking for shelter from sun
kissing my skin to tan
avoiding to be well done

i step on one of her heels
she carelessly left behind
almost twisted my ankles
she has beige size nine
i left a mark easily seen
