041010b When Routine Change

i talked to my friend who just retired
he was very eager to know what, where,
how everybody is doing this time of year
we talk for a good thirty minutes, he is
keeping himself busy planting spring
veggies, fixing the fence, cleaning yard

he can't remember how young i am
he keep asking me when i will retire
or he wants me to be like him, maybe
i sense he wants to come back to work
retirement has left a void in his life
for one thing, he is not boss anymore
