041210g She Claim What's Hers - Poem by Manonton Dalan

angry lips of sea came crushing
small houses dotting seashore
not satisfied went up to the hills
chase kids escaping its wrath
cries are heard but escape to tree
waited morning when they feel free

hungry, still very much afraid to come
down, they can still see it coming but
too weak to reach where they are, fine
they can still wait to subside to safe
level, beneath tree is clutter of multitudes
sore eye, frightening nature with attitudes
