naked trees braving my eyes
barks peeling, branches drying
small hope of life a green sprout
which crow is planning to uproot
woodpecker on other side of woods
testing hardness of trunk after rain
vines are competing to climb
burying their sharp tentacles
sucking remaining juice of life
it doesn’t shiver nor frighten
stood their all its life against all
why now when everything fall
