041711a Dawn Walk Poem by Manonton Dalan

041711a Dawn Walk

my foot gently touches carpet
from softness of solitary bed
guided by natural borne instinct
to water plants fertilizer for weeds
i bump into door though not much
sure nudge to be careful enough

tiles are so cold my toes shrink
i forgot my slippers but i must go
too many rooms no hallway lights
i keep pushing that were close
finally i found what i'm looking for
so i sit ponder, dream some more
