042111e Fossils



splashing luminous waves
breaking to a white carpet
reaching my barefoot, i run
teasing her, tempting her
tried again and again but
i keep going away, away

i dug hole in sand, fills
it back up, disappears
i gather shells, trinkets
these were once crawling
beneath with seaweeds
watching fishes swim
