042511d So Quiet And So Beautiful

two persimmons flaunting
their buds to visiting birds
rose defying forces of wind
grass keeping dirt together
oak tree leaning on house
i'm admiring what they do

i sit by boat ramp and marvel
so beautiful place but so quiet
they are all at work; earning
if i could only talk to fish, beneath
i'll ask how did she get so large
must getting feed, never leave me
