042711a Bwildered Mind



she's holding her nails
what took her unknown
one deeper than thought
she smiles, swing her hair
earrings fell, rattles on floor
i caught glimpse, it shines

she grab her cell phone
texting, reaching for soul
looking pictures of her pet
playing with a tennis ball
i know her mind wasn't here
she didn't even eat her food
