042911c More Coming After - Poem by Manonton Dalan

her cat came rubbing her legs
circling between her thighs with
silent stare, slow wiggle of tail
orange coat change to grayish
matching swath of destruction
and marble counter, her kitchen

she bend to pick one of her dolls
twisted limbs, rip costumes flailing
gentle hands wrap with tenderness
tiny droplets escape between eyelids
silent sigh fading with following wind
palms press together, please not again
