an orange spherical dotted back
clinging to leaves close to rock
i sweep the surrounding; many
crawling on grass; everywhere
they won't bite nor sting; gentle
lady bug; they call this beetle
some line up to a leaf like buds
pretty as bloom to my adoring eyes
could be a bracelet on your arms
i counted their dots three on top
and four on the edges of the side
shiny black as big as sesame seed
