050710p Behind Those Leaves

limbs beneath those thick leaves
resting from a constant rousing
make it sturdy for summer coming
cute winglet crawl to nest her fame
away from inquiring eye of wonder
moment now she will be sparkling

i love that; what she doing for her
would be chirping come morning
maybe some friends would come
uplift from wherever it started from
a needed changes for branches lay
safe and beautiful be it sanctuary

***
tiny bird caught my sleepy eyes
and i can't resist to scribble some.
what a lovely creature worthy of my
pen. could be begging for my moisting
heart. md
