051010n Walking Back - Poem by Manonton Dalan

i hear violin serenading my return
for every stroke my heart jumps
as gypsy man played his drum
i move my hand to beats of joy
i close my eyes to remember
back up to hills we're together

we waited for sea breeze to sail
slapping waves on boat's keel
giggling kids on the other side
watching pretty kites on glide
i pick bouquet of daffodils for you
i feel your heart; your face glow
