051310b Remains To Be Wish

an orchid hanging by a root
blooming to moist of the wind
too high to reach by wishful hand
close enough to be admired
let it be there; those petals fall
green leaves, grayish stalks remain

such beauty beyond my fingertips
i wanted to smell fragrance posses
i let her go adorning the wilderness
but i keep coming this time of year
to see if she is still blooming there
it's adorable i wish i could have her
