061710c Lunch At Cafeteria Poem by Manonton Dalan

061710c Lunch At Cafeteria

i open door rush of cold came
a relief from outdoors steam
i see line ordering their food
lunch break from work place
forty minutes must be quick
when my turn comes; few ticks

'to go please' most words said
i notice a big sign says 'no check'
'free soup on thursday' why then
i wiggle my foot easing the pain
looking around sadness is friend
even my water bottle is sweating
