colorful flags fluttering high
reaching beautiful blue sky
banners drape around post
curious kids looking for host
to ask questions, take pictures
and to get sample of their food
not far volleyball is being played
loud jubilations from upbeat crowd
powered by pride & very cold beer
ladies in eyecatching dress cheer
music massage dust off treetops
even our old folks are having blast
