082. Silence Where There Should Be None

Silence where there should be none
what the hell is this all about
too much trash is going on
and no one will stop it

It’s not exactly hard
to work out what isn’t right
people say they know
but will do nothing

There is no easy way now
we don’t need to try
to muck up the whole world up
it’s like that already
we don’t need the practice

We may as well forget the future
the past is all we have
by the time the children of tomorrow grow up
it will be too late to save it

i know it isn't important considering the subject matter................., but to muck up the whole world up....... i think has an unneeded up. gee, two pessimistic poems in a row! you had better put the newspapers in the trash before reading, get off the internet, stop watching the TV and stop listening to the radio, AND bury your head in the sand. then maybe you'll feel better. have a crosseyed lollipop day, my friend. bri :)
