1. The Mad Sumerian Poem by Anand Dixit

1. The Mad Sumerian

Rating: 4.1

I am an Akkadian from Akkad
My hair is black, and I have a sack
If you think I am mad, my king is sane
If you think my king is mad, I am sane
Ha Ha Ha I am the mad Sumerian

I am half god, half man,
Half animal, half mad
I am the sanest sane person,
I am the maddest mad person,
Ha Ha Ha I am the mad Sumerian

I bite the sheep, put them to sleep
The shepherd weeps, until he sleeps
Aruru is my father, Aruru is my mother
I am born mad, I am born bad
Ha Ha Ha I am the mad Sumerian

Run to the hills, Run to the mills
Run to your king, with the signet ring
Two-thirds god and one-third human
The king god and the god king
I will bring him down, and the town
Ha Ha Ha I am the mad Sumerian
