Some leaders are expected
to change their world in
100 days, the first 100 days
...so many depend
on the results, they
themselves say

But by what measure
would we
remember a life worth
knowing, studying, taking inspiration

from

kings, queens, prime ministers
presidents, influencers, athletes
down to the home-evicted
clinging with fraying fingernails
to the unforgiving margins

a life worth writing
to reach 100 pages
might have to rely for much
on footnotes, filler
asides and repetition
