#13 (From, ‘what's Really Happening - In 54 Numbers’) Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Rating: 2.8

Can't you look into the deep?
Follow inspiration;
From lost love we always weep,
Without hesitation.
To memories we hold tight,
Strings attached to old leaves;
Whether this is wrong or right,
Depends on our grieves.

Poetic words always amaze,
But is the truth in there?
Your love turns sometimes both ways:
Without a 'smooth cure'.

Can't you look into the deep?
Even though suns don't shine.
Misery and shadows creep:
Loneliness, combine.

Beautiful poem with beyond good points to help one out of the darkness of the soul. It can often be an uphill battle though when loneliness is there, no matter how deep into your soul you look...Tomorrow generally shines brighter though. your poems are beyond belief....they are to me, gifts of wonder and hope and love to the heart and soul..............marci. :)
