.2. Plumber Poem by David Threadgold

.2. Plumber

Could I have been a plumber?
With copper pipes and bends
To fix the leaky water tank
And solder till it mends

I’d look out for a dribble’s
That won’t get any better
And offer customers my skills
Before they get much wetter
