.3. Eye Tea Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Eye Tea

Blind in one eye
With a view that’s one sided
All that I see now
In two is divided

Watching the football
One side or the other
Missing some bits
Whilst I’m viewing another

Next time I’ll remove it
The spoon from my cup
That poked my left eye
When I lifted it up
