.3. Lost Sheep Poem by David Threadgold

.3. Lost Sheep

A light on the hillside
The shepherd can’t sleep
His collie beside him
In snow very deep

Wind howling fiercely
The snow turned to sleet
He listened intently
For a pitiful bleat

Behind a stone wall
Little lamb on the ground
The last of his flock
He had found safe and sound

this is a wonderful children's rhyme. So very sweet. Great read.
