The woggle on my neckerchief
Thick brown and made of leather
Went everywhere a Boy Scout went
Sun, wind and stormy weather
It went for hikes on Saturdays
Or church on special Sundays
Band practice nights on Thursdays
Got polished on the Mondays
A most important part of kit
Scout masters all would tell
For all good scouts must be prepared
And keep their woggle well
