35 - One Way Ticket To Hell

Rating: 5.0

Their sentence a one way ticket to hell
Thirteen years locked away in a cell
Incarcerated for crimes they didn’t commit
A false allegation one was coerced to admit
While others carry on they are left standing still
Hours of just gazing from a prison window sill
Like a clipped dove unable to fly
Trapped in seclusion trapped in a lie

Millions of people will not stop till they see
The first steps of freedom for the West Memphis Three
