4 Am Poem by Jennifer Birchall

4 Am

Rating: 5.0

When darkest thoughts come to light
No birdsong to distract
The quietness is deafening
You lay paralyzed by all your fears
But your mind a train,100 miles per hour
A different station every minute
The blanket of darkness covers you
The moon and stars too
You see no light, no end to this journey
Wishing for dreams, to escape this reality
The loneliness of the night
