.4. Ban Em Poem by David Threadgold

.4. Ban Em

Rating: 5.0

Who asked for nuclear weapons?
Did we all have a say
Who decided that we needed them?
Through taxes we should pay

What was the point of building them?
In bunkers they must stay
What happens when they get too old?
They won’t just rot away

Why do we need to have them?
When fearing them so much
Why should someone decide our fate?
By buttons they might touch

Where did the idea come from?
That spread to every nation
Where do we go when the sirens sound?
Before mass devastation
