I don't need to be well armed
in order to be your hero
swords and bows are very useful at times
but my mind is the only weapon I would need

I will not need any armor to be your knight
besides it would cover my face
I don't wish to hide my feelings from you
and so will go forth uncovered

I don't need a fine white stallion
in order to transport you to safety
as long as I have the strength in me
I will always support and carry you when needed

I don't need to have a coat of arms
in order to show off to anyone
I would rather be who I am
and win your heart with love
