447. Poem by Jaden Knight

447.

You want to give me fancy gifts
and I guess I could have accepted them
I wasn't there for your presents
so I politely declined them all

You offered me a galaxy
all I desired was your love and respect
constellations baring my name are wonderful
but I wanted to make you my world

If you had wrapped yourself in my arms
for me to keep close at all times
the beauty of it would be priceless
it would be the best treasure I could ever have

I hope that eventually you will realise
that I need no packages if I truly have you
the only thing of value I want is your love
as to me that is more precious than anything
