470. Your Clouds Poem by Jaden Knight

470. Your Clouds

There was not a cloud in my sky
until you decided to stick around
you came threatening rain and thunder
to blot out my sunny day

You sent lightning down to inflict chaos
to spread terror and fear
your plan didn't work at all
as instead the residents stood firm

They survived bigger storms and quakes
to let you bother them
you are not really a threat to them
compared to most they are used to

The winds blew you over my lands
and they will blow you away again
bringing back the clear blue skies
until the next one strikes
