9/11 Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

9/11

Rating: 5.0

The twin towers breathed their last.
They were able to resist quake, to bear blast
but were unaware of the flying iron birds
that made them to fall like cards.
Innocent lives this claimed.
One side of the five-walled house was also lamed.
This caused severe-
the word-height-was erased forever!
The son slapped his dad-
a biggest insult anyone ever had.
