(936) True Love Lost

Rating: 3.0

He loved his women,
more than one.
Searching the bars to
have his fun.
His philosophy,
simple and true.
I’ll always come out
on top of you.
The years flew by,
loneliness set in.
While growing old,
frail and thin,
he longed for the presence
of a good woman to sit
lovingly next to him.

Melvina, yet another sad poem that can be so true to some. They think what they do is fun, but in the end the price they pay for their particular 'fun' is always loneliness. Well stated my friend. Thanks for sharing this my friend. David

Some men just have to have 'fun' as they call it and in the end they pay the price. They went for 'multitudes' instead of remaining true to one love...This is fantastic Melvina. ~~~~marci.xo~~
