Memories of moments to brighten my day
A time of reflection if only to stay
Right there in the comfort of days that have passed
Forever and ever if only to last.

I still see your smile like a shimmering sun
For you were my strength when i needed someone
Like a beacon of light you guided my way
I think of you always you lit up my day.

Outside the wind blows through the strong woodland trees
The day has begun like the brisk morning breeze
I know in my heart there are good days to come
When we'll be together
When we will be one.
