A Beautiful Evening With You - Poem by Michael P. McParland

A beautiful evening spent with you
would be a wonderful thing
to have on this night
and every one we could grab through our lives.
Spending time enjoying all in life
that is wonderful fun and fine.
A beautiful evening with my one
is what I would like to have right now.

Cuddling up and kissing on the couch,
giving passionate kisses that show our love.
Caressing and holding each other in
needed comfort very close.
Sharing our special bond between ourselves,
smiling a feeling fulfilled peace.
Being and feeling closer than we've
been able too up to now.
A beautiful evening with my soul mate,
my best friend is the one who makes life great.

A beautiful evening as I hold you close
stroking your long dark gorgeous hair
as I softly speak to reassure you
of my dedicated soul and heart to you.
Look into your eyes to show you the truth
within my kind caring loving soul
filling you with peace as I say
I love you dear and I'll be here for you forevermore.
You are the only one whom I want
to spend all time and hold so near.

A beautiful night with my best friend,
my only love, and my future wife.
How I long to be with you
each and every day and night.
In your arms and feeling all your love
as I look at you and smile before
I lean in to kiss your soft lips.
I want to be with you and forget
all the lonely longing pain that grips.
I love you dear and you are everything
I'll ever want and need.
A beautiful evening here with you
would be an awesome dream come true.
