A Beautiful Morning With My Best Friend - Poem by Michael P. McParland

A beautiful peaceful morning with
my best friend Kira is what's in my heart
and on my mind right now.
Just laying in bed holding each other so close
in a snuggle of pure loving comfort.
Surrounded in pure warmth and love
and feeling truly safe as we lay here.
A beautiful morning with my beautiful
best friend Kira is everything in existence
that is wanted and needed by this man.

A beautiful morning here with my best friend
in bed just snuggling and getting a few
more hours of deep needed healing rest
is what's in my mind and heart making me smile
knowing in spirit it's true and soon
in person it will be too.
A beautiful morning with Kira just resting
and talking while we hold each other
is what I want now and forever.
Beautiful morning with Kira my best friend and true love.

Sweet Kira let's spend this beautiful morning
together for a few more hours just snuggling
and resting while getting to feeling better.
Just wrap our arms around each other
and feel deep comfort and warmth provided
by the love we've always felt for each other.
Let's just spend a beautiful morning
telling each other I love you and feel true peace
as you rest your head upon my chest
and we drift off for a few more hours of healing need.
Let's just grab onto each other and squeeze.
I love you Kira and that's what we need
so come slide into bed next to me
so we can have a beautiful morning with our
true love, soul mate and best friend.
