A Bed Of Sand Poem by Jasbir Chatterjee

A Bed Of Sand

Rating: 5.0

Life isn't
Always easy.
And your bed isn't
Always of roses;
But even life is human.
It takes pity,
Softens the blows,
Lets you draw solace
From a bed of sand.

Thanks for re-creating the scene (displayed in the picture) through words. I had also clicked a similar photo about 3-4 years back. I gave it a burial and you gave it a life. I must thank you for this poetic creativity.

Life is not easy, nor a bed of roses, but it lets you draw solace from a bed of sand. Lovely, well said, and it gels.

Yes madam, life is neither a bed of sand nor a bed of rose. It has something to do better for other as a human. A brilliant philosophical poem is astutely executed. Thanks for sharing 10
