A Better You Poem by Ishita Yadav

A Better You

You might see others better than you,
Always outshined, nothing new.
Failure might be stuck like a leech,
the first place just out of reach.

You might not hear success's call,
but giving up won't help at all.

'Nothing's impossible' might sound cliché,
but its true to the ground, if you want to stay.
And stay you will, if you want to shine,
which is only possible when you push out of line.

But sometimes, even after struggling through rough
it might just not seem enough
And that's when you stand for the final test
just one last push and you'll be the best

And 'best' is the word that's meant for you
but it's not worth if you're not true
true to the world, true with you
true to everyone who's important for you

You'll shine through all, without any doubt
there's more to you than anyone found out
And that won't be because of someone new
but because you found a better you!
