A Busy Mind Is A Really Happy Mind. - Poem by Stephen Katona

Cease your thoughts of suicide,
Have a mind that's occupied.
All dreams can come true,
Release the energy within you.
Let every minute be filled with zest,
Devote yourself to many a quest.
Rise up from that dark hole,
Enjoy the light as it fills your soul.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Thank you to Charldré who shared with me her idea that if you do not have time to think unhappy thoughts it is hard to be unhappy. Keeping busy is a great way to keep happy and make the most of life. Charldré's name is spelt by the first letters of each line.

a mind that is occupied with the shit that is in some people's lives will certainly make if difficult to take such advice about keeping busy with other things.
