A Calming View Poem by james watkin

A Calming View

Spirit of these heights, pined and lush
Healthier, seaward lean
Insist I 'breathe it deep'; ensuring
What in the mind to glean

Will also, for its thought-creations
Skied ever spry therein
Cast something of this smooth calmness;
Far-sunned; on silver wing.
