A Child's Spirit Poem by james watkin

A Child's Spirit

You cannot see me; really,
Really you cannot! Through this
Mask of insincerity
I've walked, I've ran, I've played games
Doubly appreciative that 'Hide
And Seek' was one of their names!

You see I'm shy. Shyer still
Than what noticeably pales
Except before a friend's will.
I receive lessons also;
And school attend. Of which pains
And of which planet you know.
